A brilliant set played on piano and with Gary Holder on double bass. Julie's singing of How insensitive was “sublime”.

2 April 2010  - Julie sang with the Dave Fellingham Big Band with an audience of over 700 people. A great concert.


Saturday 1 August - Airs and Disgraces, the full show with Julie, Leonie and Gary, for a private birthday party near Ditchling. This was a resounding success. "Fantastic. It exceeded our expectations. Brilliant. Brilliant. Everyone loved it." - L.W.

Saturday 13th June 2009 - Music Evening - Haywards Heath  -  Church of the Ascension. Julie did a superb, relaxed one hour solo set of soul, standards, blues, and folk songs. As always a polished professional performance with interesting introductions to the songs, impeccable guitar playing and great songs sung with feeling.  The audience was warmly appreciative  -  the fourth year that Julie has performed for this church.

This was a fund-raising concert for the church.

5 April - The full Airs and Disgraces show at Horsham Folk Club with Gary Holder and Leonie Mansell. Feisty poetry and song. Superb performances from all three. Comments from the audience included "Superb!" and "Absolutely brilliant. I'd like to book the whole show for my birthday party."

25 March  -  State Hall, Heathfield, Sussex. Julie had a guest spot singing with the Dave Fellingham Big Band.


29 November - Concert Church of the Ascension, Haywards Heath, (Third successive year.) Julie solo.

5 November  -  Julie sang with David Fellingham, trumpet and keyboard. Private event.

Sunday 21 September  -   Windsor Fringe Festival -  Julie, and Leonie performed Airs and Disgraces with Gary Holder.  

Saturday 20 September -  United Nations International Day of Peace event, Burgess Hill.  Julie and Gary performed in the Market Place shopping centre.

Thursday 18 September -  Sanctuary Cafe, Brighton.  Julie, and Leonie performed Airs and Disgraces with Gary.  

Thursday 11 September -   BBC Southern Counties Radio, shortly after 4pm. Drivetime with Sarah Gorrell. Julie and Leonie interviewed.  They played the Tracy Chapman song from Julie and Gary's CD. It's called Baby Can I Hold You ? (although for years we have called it Sorry).

Wednesday  10 September, BBC Radio Kent (+BBC Southern Counties Radio, BBC Radio Solent,  BBCRadio Oxford, BBC Radio Berkshire) Roger Day Across the South,  8pm. Julie with Leonie Mansell and Gary Holder., interviewed + Julie sang Fifteen Summers by Gallagher and Lyle (Gary Holder on double bass) - probably the song she is most often asked to sing. Friday 5 September. Julie was the singer with the David Fellingham  Big Band. Private event, Worthing.

Wednesday 27 August  -  Arundel Festival  -  Julie, Gary, and Leonie performed Airs and Disgraces  at the Norfolk Centre.

Clarendon Centre, New England Street, Brighton

Julie was one of the soloists performing with the Big Band to an audience of over 700 people. The concert raised £13,007- 06 for projects in Haiti run by the Tear Fund charity. Congratulations to all who worked to make this concert an outstanding success both musically and as a fund-raising project. It was a truly brilliant evening. Sunday 8 January 2012 was a very successful concert featuring Julie Roberts with Gary Holder at Horsham Folk Club in a double bill with  Classical Folk. There was a very enthusiastic capacity audience.

Saturday 23 April Julie and Michael in Concert with Classical Folk at Holy Trinity Church, Lower Beeding, near Horsham. Charity concert.

Julie is an ordinary member of  the community choir, Shoreham Singers by Sea, and often sings at Horsham Folk Club.

Thursday 18 July. Music for a Summer’s Evening. A wonderful concert played to a “full house” -  80 to 90 people  -   a very warm and appreciative audience  - in Itchingfield village Church near Horsham, mid Sussex.   -  Julie performed the second half of the concert with Gary Holder.
